The College of Medicine, University of Basrah organizes a scientific symposium entitled Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever: A Renewed Danger in Iraq

 

The College of Medicine, University of Basrah, held a scientific symposium entitled Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever: A Renewed Danger in Iraq May 16, 2022. The symposium included two lectures. The first lecture was given by Assistant Professor Dr. Firas Taha Mansour, Microbiology Department, and was entitled: Hemorrhagic fever viruses, types, and spread Around the world and ways of transmission to humans. As for the second lecture, it was given by Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Khattar Musa, Department of Medicine, and was entitled Hemorrhagic Fever: Symptoms and Treatments. The symposium aimed at introducing hemorrhagic fever and clarifying the main points about the spread of the disease and ways to prevent it. The symposium was attended by a large number of professors and graduate students in the college and the rest of the university's faculties and from some service departments in the province.
