The Faculty of Medicine of Basra University held a workshop on modern trends in medical orthopedic tissue engineering. The workshop discussed the latest research in the field of bone tissue manufacturing engineering. The most important polymeric materials used in the manufacture of these materials and methods of bone manufacturing and control of the morphology of manufacturing, control of mechanical properties and the structure of the artificial bone, as well as the biological consensus and the effect of material degradation products on the cell. The workshop recommended guiding these types of research on bone tissue and forming research teams to develop work for medical treatments for fractures.
