WHO Advices in Hot Weather

Frequency of heatwaves are rising in many parts of the world.  

Did you know that excessive heat can cause heatstroke, exhaustion, cramps, fainting, swelling and heat rash?

Here are some tips to stay safe and cool:

 Keep the body cool and hydrated
Take cool showers or baths
Wear light, loose-fitting clothes of natural materials
Drink regularly, but avoid alcohol and too much caffeine and sugar
Eat small meals and more often
Help others who suffer from the heat, especially elderly and children
