The University of Basrah launched the electronic correspondence and archiving system, which works on the university's internal intranet network through a workshop organised by the Information and Communication Technology Centre for postal units and archiving divisions in all university formations. The director of the information and communication technology centre at the university, Mr. Kayan Abdul Aziz Al-Sabhi, said that the names of users and passwords were distributed to all colleges and departments at the University of Basra, and he was instructed to effectively implement the electronic correspondence and archiving system and enter the service. Al-Sabhi added, according to the direction of the university president, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, we will be at the presidency of the university as a month's experience to address all the problems that may appear during the work of the system.
