A novel was published by Mariam Azhar Abdul Ghafoor, one of the students of the fourth stage of the college of Medicine / University of Basrah entitled: Smoke (meaning to be born as a human being). A signed copy of it was given to the Dean, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, as it is the policy of the college to take care of the artistic talents of the college students in addition to supervising their academic achievement.
