The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the college of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Kazem Baqer (speciao in general and laparoscopic surgery), has performed a complex  cholecystectomy of a 30-year-old female patient Where the specialized medical team at Al-Sadr Teaching Hospital succeeded in conducting it. Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Kazem Baqer stated that the patient was suffering from pain in the upper right side of the abdomen with frequent vomiting and pain in her right shoulder, where the stones were restored from the bile duct to the gallbladder with another stones in the gallbladder and the gallbladder was completely removed.
