
Board research at the University of Basra College of Medicine discussed the relationship between the level of thyroid hormones upon admission to hospital and complications that appear in hospital in patients with high ST-segment myocardial infarction. The research presented by student Haider Khaled Abd Hazaa aims to find out whether the level of thyroid hormones upon admission to the hospital is related to complications that appear in the hospital among patients with myocardial infarction of the type of high S segment. The study found that the level of thyroid hormones is related to the complications that appear in The hospital, where the patients whose thyroid hormones were normal, had fewer complications, while the greater proportion of complications were observed in patients with hypothyroidism and hypothyroidism.
