The college  of Medicine University of Basra, received the scientific trip of Tafawooq Alajeal (generations excellence ) private school  for Girls on Tuesday, 28 / 2 / 2023, and they were received by the Student Activities Unit in the college  and the Media and Public Relations Unit, where the students and the management of the school met with the Dean of the college of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed  Almusafer and the assistant dean for scientific affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Kazem Baqer.then a tour was done in the corridors and facilities of the college  such as clinical laboratories, the physiology  aboratory, the museum, the office, the student club, the gardens and classrooms. The Dean also gave a speech to the students and showed them the importance of science and motivation for scientific excellence and reaching higher grades through the students' keenness to excel. The student activities officer at the college, Assistant Professor Dr. Jalal Abdel Zahra, gave a lecture that shows students the importance of specialisation in scientific fields and planting motivations for them in upgrading their scientific level. The school administration and the students expressed their happiness with this valuable visit and creation of  spirit of competition in order to reach the highest grades. This scientific trip comes to entertain students, to inform them about the features of the of Medicine, to strengthen determination  and raise the scientific level of students.
