Assistant Professor Dr. Nizar Samir Haddad, a member of the National Council for Accreditation of Medical colleges in Iraq, gave a lecture tagged "The Road to Accreditation. Where are we?” To the students of the Fifth stage in the college of Medicine within the framework of the educational campaign on national accreditation, which aims to raise awareness and introduce the national accreditation for  the colleges of medicine and how much the college of Medicine University of Basra has accomplished in this field. It was also stressed that students should contribute to the accreditation process, as the process is a real partnership between all involved parties in the educational process.
