The College of Medicine, University of Basra, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Qusay Al-Suhail, the respected and under the direct supervision of the President of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ismail Al-Hamdi, the respected Call in cooperation with the U-merge association and with the participation of researchers from foreign and Arab countries such as Britain, Poland, Greece, Austria, Senegal, Iran, Egypt, Kuwait and the Emirates.
 The Assistant Dean of the College of Medicine for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Muhammad Saleh, stated that the conference consisted of three sessions.
 The first session discussed three lectures on (endourology), while the second session dealt with three lectures on uro-gynaecology. The third session consisted of four lectures on cancer diseases affecting the urinary system (oncology). 
The attendance included teachers of our college and other colleges inside and outside Iraq, and doctors specializing in urology from various provinces of Iraq and countries of the world.
