The Dean of the college of Medicine  University of Basra, Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, was selected as part of the program of the best (100) influential  personnels for the year 2023 through electronic voting and field survey held by the Civilians Foundation for Press, Culture and Media.

The choice of Al-mosafer  from the best influential personnels for the year 2023 came because of the valuable services he provides to the community and his active role in communicating with the people of the city and extending a helping hand and assistance to them through the university communication portal with the community.

It is noteworthy that Al-Mosafer became the Dean  of the college of Medicine in 2021 and began an expanded plan to enhance the principle of cooperation between the university and the community to improve the Basra  community.
