The Board of the College of Medicine held its regular session with the participation of the Director of the Department of Health, Dr. Abbas Khalaf Al-Tamimi, to lay down frameworks for cooperation between the College of Medicine and the Basra Health Department. The two parties discussed activating the work of the joint committees to develop the health situation and ways to expand the base of graduate studies for the Iraqi and Arab Council for medical specialties and the application of research and studies in the fields of the health sector. Mechanisms for coordinating the work of teaching professors in the college and hospitals were also discussed
