The college of Medicine University of Basrah has ort an awareness seminar on breast cancer and early detection at the shipping company.

The seminar was presented by Dr. Khadija Sami Madi and Dr. Hind Alaa Abdel Razzaq, where the seminar addressed the most important genetic and nutritional causes leading to the increase of the disease in women, especially giving general guidelines for early detection to reduce the rate of early infection.

This symposium comes in conjunction with the cancer awareness campaign in October, which is a global initiative that began to be launched at the international level in October 2006, where sites around the world are taking pink color as their slogan in order to raise awareness of the risks of breast cancer.
