The Family and Community Medicine Branch at the College of Medicine at the University of Basra organized a workshop on how to fill out a death certificate based on WHO standards with the participation of family and community medicine branch teachers and fourth-stage students. The workshop included a theoretical lecture and practical training on how to fill out the death certificate according to WHO standards and according to the international classification For diseases tenth revision. The workshop recommended the necessity of the doctors ’commitment to fill out the death certificate according to the standards of the World Health Organization and according to the International Classification of Diseases, the Tenth Revision, because of its great importance in determining the main causes of death, which contribute to helping to develop health plans to control these diseases that cause death.
