The lecturer at the college of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Abdul Majeed Hussein, participated in a discussion committee of the doctoral student Intsar Qasim Mnwar in the speciality  of Physiology at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Department of Life Sciences at the University of Basrah.

The topic of the thesis was (estimation of some physiological indicators as dangerous predictors of heart disease in women with type 2 diabetes)

The results found a close association with the study of new criteria linking heart muscle disfunction to higher biomarkers in people with diabetes.

The student got an excellent grade.
