The Pediatrics Department at the College of Medicine at Basra University organized a workshop on assessing communication skills in clinical convergence, with the participation of Dr. Abd al-Salam Salih Sultan, Director of the Training and Development Center in Baghdad, and a group of college instructors.  The workshop aims to introduce the principles of assessing communication skills for teaching faculty in clinical branches.  The evaluation included practical interviews for teaching communication skills, and the presentation of evaluation videos, according to a pre-prepared list, evaluated by OSCI.  The workshop recommended the necessity of continuous training to teach communication skills and repeatedly to enhance communication skills and the ability to train students in an ideal way.
