A scientific Symposium at the Faculty of Medicine on Autismas in children

 

 

Faculty of Medicine at Basra University organizes  a scientific symposium on autism. The symposium, which was entitled "Health services provided for autism in Basra, aims how to improve them and move forward) to review the volume of autism in our reality and access to accurate diagnosis without delay and correct treatment depending on behavioral therapy. The symposium included giving a scientific lecture to Dr. Suhaila Kazem Al-Ahmad from the United Kingdom and viewing videos and discussing miscellaneous practices in radiotherapy and tests that are not based on a scientific evidence. Participants recommended that cadres of children and psychiatrists have attentioned attention and desire to treat autism patients because the treatment of autistic disease needs a working group and to a training and treatment center for autistic patients. Dr. Soussan Issa Habib, head of the children's section in the Faculty of Medicine, said the College was prepared and in full details and needs to begin with efforts and support from Dr. Suhaila Ahmad and from Basra Health Service.
