The administrative assistant of  the President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Haider Khazal, visited  the college with the Director of Financial Control and the Director of Accounts at the university,  where a meeting headed by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Mortada Mohammed Saleh Al-Mosafer, in the presence of the Dean's Assistants, the Director and members of the Accounts Division in the college was held .

Many administrative matters were discussed, as well as the possibility of adding a laboratory building for the college of Medicine, study rooms and parking,
