Assistant Prof. at the College of Medicine of Basra University,  Dr. Mustafa Abdul-Majeed Hussain, participated in the second International Ibn Al-Haytham Conference for Pure and Applied Sciences 2020 IHICPAS, which was held by the College of Science, the University of Baghdad for the period from 9-10 / 12/2020, where the conference included several disciplines, including physics, chemistry sciences, sciences Life, Mathematics and Computer Science. Where Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Abdel-Majeed Hussein gave a paper entitled (Physiological changes of thyroid hormones in women with osteoporosis in Iraq / Basra province). The aim of the research is to measure the level of thyroid enzymes in women with osteoporosis compared to healthy people. The research concluded that there is a decrease in the level of thyroid enzymes in women with osteoporosis. Note that the conference papers will be published in international journals within SCOPUS.
