The college of Medicine at the University of Basrah held a celebration ceremony on the occasion of the college's obtaining third place on medical colleges in Iraq within the Iraqi classification for the academic year 2023.

The celebration included a speech delivered by the Dean of the College of Medicine, in which he valued the efforts of all those who contributed to this achievement in the hope of further progress and giving.

It is worth mentioning that the College of Medicine obtained the 11th place last year.

The former President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the President of Doctors syndicate , Dr. Wissam Al-Rudaini, the Director of the Basrah Health Department, Dr. Abbas Al-Tamimi, and the officials of the Quality Assurance Division at the Presidency of the University of Basrah were also honored.

In addition to honoring the official of the Quality Division in the college, Assistant Professor Dr. Khuloud Abdul Hassan Al-Salmi, and the staff of the Quality Division.
