The Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, attended the eighth open session of the Council of the University of Basrah on Monday, 4/15/2024, which was held under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Council, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad, his scientific and administrative assistants, the deans of all colleges, members of the Council, and the representative of the Academics Syndicate in the Council.
 The Council included the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the directives of the President of the Council, and the affairs of primary and postgraduate students.
 The council witnessed the discussion of many matters related to the scientific and administrative aspects of the university, which are on its agenda.

 In addition to hosting the university’s classifications official, he provided a detailed explanation of the classifications and explained the university’s position in these classifications and how to advance the university to higher ranks.
 Dr. Haider Jassim from the College of Computer Science and Information Technology was also hosted. He presented a summary of the Bologna track and identified the colleges included in this track, which are the colleges of engineering and science.
