The lecturer at the College of Medicine / University of Basrah, Assistant Professor Dr. Talib Kazem Akkar, won the first prize for the short story at the thirteenth Al-Safir Cultural Festival.  He was honored with a certificate of appreciation by the secretariat of the Kufa Mosque and the shrines attached to it, in appreciation and gratitude for his active participation in the festival that the secretariat held in the corridors of the Holy Shrine for the period 14-16/4/2024.
