On Sunday, 5/5/2024, the College of Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a ceremony to honor retired employee Sahira Hamza. The ceremony included a speech by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, in which he reviewed the college’s pride and pride in what the employee provided during her long years of service, commending and praising the efforts she made.  Another speech was delivered by the Director of the Registration Unit at the College, Professor Dr. Jassim Mohammad Salman, who in turn thanked and praised the great efforts she made over 37 years to serve the College and the University, which contributed to achieving many achievements that had a good impact on the students and fellow employees.
