The lecturer at the College of Medicine at the University of Basrah, Assistant Professor Dr. Mays Basil Jalil, delivered a valuable lecture as part of the activities of the second edition of the Teaching Methods Towards Blended Learning course. The lecture included the concept of learning and teaching, the difference between them, and learning about the types of learning and teaching, the pillars on which the learning and teaching processes are based, and the surrounding factors affecting the effectiveness of learning and teaching. He also presented many individual and group activities during the lecture, along with some tasks required of the participants to answer and upload them to the electronic class of the medical specialty group. The lecture also recommended the necessity of using modern methods in preparing lectures and involving students in the lecture as they are the focus of the educational process.
It is noteworthy that Assistant Professor Dr. Mays Basil Jalil is one of the trainers accredited by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
