‏The University of Basrah at the College of ‏Medicine,  board research discussed the importance of the role of EGFR in Colorectal cancer (CRC ) and its relationship with clinical-pathological parameters in Basrah. The research presented by our student Nadeem Alawi aims To assess EGFR expression in CRC and its relation to clinicopathological parameters. Colorectal cancer (CRC ) is the third most common cancer worldwide, affect both male and female almost equally. The mean age at presentation is in the fifth to sixth decades of life.
‏The most common histologic type is conventional adenocarcinoma. The research concluded that there is no significant association between EGFR staining in CRC and clinicopathological parameters.
