A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the University of Basrah - College of Medicine that represented by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Nofal Ali Al-Mubarak, and the medical British College Network in Iraq that represented by its President, Prof. Dr. Hilal Al-Saffar, within the framework of enhancing academic and medical cooperation.
This memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the two parties in the fields of medical education (undergraduate and postgraduate) and scientific research. The memorandum includes providing support in providing educational services, improving students' skills in the field of medical research and publishing in medical journals, in addition to building training capacities for college members in order to meet academic accreditation requirements.
The medical British College is committed to providing academic and educational support according to available capabilities, while the University of Basrah - College of Medicine will provide logistical support to implement joint educational activities.
This cooperation reflects the desire of both parties to enhance medical education and develop medical doctors in Iraq, which contributes to raising the level of medical efficiency and contributing to improve health care in the country.
