The University of Basrah / College of Medicine organized a scientific symposium on basic communication skills for Faculty members and specialists doctors of the Basrah Health Department. The symposium aims to learn the basics of communication skills, especially the principles of starting a patient interview including patient’s perspective and verbal and non-verbal dialogue techniques. The symposium recommended the necessity of continuing the train of the faculty and Health Department doctors in communication skills to increase their efficiency in clinical practice with patients.
