The Manager of Civil Defense Directorate ; Tahsin Ali Sari, visited the University of Basrah - College of Medicine, and met with the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs; Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer. This visit came in compliance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and the Presidency of the University of Basrah on the necessity of cooperation between the Civil Defense Directorate and the University Colleges (including College of Medicine) in order to provide safety and security conditions. Earlier the Manager of Civil Defense Directorate sent a committee of officers to the college, where they gave advice regarding the provision of safety measures and avoidance of disasters.
