The member of the Department of Anatomy at the University of Basrah - College of Medicine,; Dr. Imad Khudair Abbas, with the participation of the two members of the College of Pharmacy; Dr. Saba Ali Mohammed and Dr. Rafif Amer Abdul-Jabbar, published a research in the Chinese Journal of Xian Shiyou University, within Scopus containers. The research aims to study the ability of the compounds in the fixed oils of Nigella sativa to bind with two types of coronavirus proteins through chemical docking. The study showed the possibility of using these compounds as inhibiting and sterilizing agents against the virus. Since the spread of the Corona virus in Iraq and the world. The Researchers entered in a difficult situation to search for a treatment to eradicate this virus in order to protect humanity, this research presents the possibility of using some compounds of the fixed oils of the black seed as an inhibitor and sterilizer against the virus. Where the spike protein of corona was used to interact with the fixed oil compounds of the black seed, and the research showed an excellent ability of citric acid to interact with this protein which is stronger than the rest of the materials used for sterilization such as alcohol and the other protein (main protease) and the research showed the ability of linoleic acid to interact with this protein stronger than other medicines such as nafomostat.
