Board research at Basra University College of Medicine discussed the relationship between presbycusis and hyperlipidemia. The research presented by the student Rafd Abdel Aziz Abdel Jalil aims to find a clear, statistically significant relationship between presbyopia and hyperlipidemia in patients over 50 years of age. The research concluded that there is a statistically significant relationship between deafness in the elderly and hyperlipidemia. The research recommended the necessity to have programs for early detection of this disease in the elderly to avoid its future consequences and to benefit from hyperlipidemia treatments to treat hyperlipidemia.
