The assistant professor Dr. Firas Taha Mansour Al-Mubarak with two other researchers obtained a patent, which is to design a new method to detect all Newcastle viruses in a single enzymatic reaction. The research included the use of molecular electronic and laboratory techniques, which are PCR primer design, RT-PCR, Real Time RT-PCR, DNA Sequencing and Bioinformatics.
