Today, Tuesday 5/4/2022, the College of Medicine, University of Basrah, hosted the students of Al-Farahidi Private School for Boys, represented by the school director, Dr. Tawfiq Mahdi, and a group of professors at the school and a group of 110 students. They were received and welcomed by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Murtada Mohammed Salih Al-Musafer, and Assistant Professor Dr. Jalal Abdel-Zahra, responsible for the Student Activities Unit at the college. The school’s scientific trip included touring all the corridors of the college, such as the clinical laboratories, the anatomy laboratory, the microbiology laboratory, the central laboratory, the library, the museum, the student club, classrooms, and gardens. The Dean, Prof. Dr. Murtada Mohammad Salih Al Musafer, presented a shield in honor of the Director of Al Farahidi School for coming to the college. This scientific trip comes to entertain students, to inform them of the features of the College of Medicine, to strengthen their resolve and determination, and to raise the level of scientific students.
