The teaching at the College of Medicine, University of Basrah, Assistant Professor Dr. Nizar Samir Haddad, presented biochemistry lectures for the second stage using a new method, which is the team-based method, Team Based Learning TBL, by relying on measuring readiness for the scientific material through readiness assurance tests, followed by an explanation of the points of difference, followed by team Application Through the competition of teams among themselves in reviewing the solution of clinical problems to reach the optimal diagnosis in a qualitative step aimed at creating an interactive environment inside the lecture hall and also aims to engage students and get out of the classic stereotypical method of giving for lectures. This method has won the admiration of the students. They described it as the ideal way to combine knowledge with clinical application.
