The College of Medicine, University of Basrah, discussed diploma research entitled Maternal and perinatal outcomes of pandemic influenza coronavirus ( COVID19) in pregnancy in Basra.  The research was presented by  ULA Hussain Radhie and aimed to evaluate the maternal and fetal and neonatal complications in pregnant women with Covid 19 infection.  The researcher concluded that there werw low rates of maternal and neonatal mortality as well as ICU admissions associated with COVID-19.
