The Faculty of Medicine, University of Basrah, held a ceremony on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 to honor a group of retired teachers and employees. The honoring included a speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, in which he reviewed the pride  of the college in what the retirees have provided During their long years of service,  praising their efforts, the ceremony was attended by Assistant Scientific Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Kazem Baqer, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Khattar, and many teachers and staff at the college, where an honorary shield was provided to every teacher and retired employee provided by the Deanship .
