The President of the University of Basrah, the Dean of the college of medicine and the Director of the Department of Cultural Relations at the University of Basrah attended events and workshops within the INsPIRE project Based on invitations submitted by University of Siena In Siena city , Italy  and University of Evora in Evora  city , Portugal Within the framework of the INsPIRE project and in the presence of the presidents of Iraqi universities, including the University of Basrah and representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education, the Department of scholarships , Studies, Research, Development and Supervision. Who Attended   workshops that  were held at these two universities in order to develop Iraqi universities and raise their scientific and academic reputation according to a program prepared in advance.This comes to implement the ministry's plans to review the experiences of prestigious European universities with regard to the quality of higher education, raise the scientific academic reputation, enter into accredited international classifications, research cooperation and joint supervision
