The Deanship of the College of Medicine, University of Basrah, has honoured the visiting Greek professor , consultant urologist Dr. Athanasios Papatsoris, and awarded him the shield of excellence. This came as a symbol of gratitude for accepting the invitation to   visit the College of Medicine, in addition to his participation in theoretical lectures for undergraduate students of preliminary studies, meeting with postgraduate students, and providing medical consultations which serve teaching process in the college and consequently in the university.
