The college  of Medicine, University of Basrah, held a meeting of the Cancer Research Committee at the college  of Medicine in the presence of the President of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the Dean of the college of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, the Dean of Al-Zahraa college of Medicine,    Professor Dr. Mazen Hawaz and the members of the committee It is worth mentioning that the Cancer Research Committee is formed within the permanent committees and includes members of the Basra Health Department. This committee is concerned with recording cases of oncology and scientific research related to oncology , as well as developing future plans for the committee.
