The College of Medicine / University of Basrah organised an interactive lecture for students of the second stage on metabolic response to injuries and trauma (Metabolic Response to Injury). in the presence of the assistant Deans .The lecture aimed to identify the details of the body's metabolic response when it is exposed to injuries or trauma of various types such as severe infections, severe burns, severe injuries and fractures, major operations. The lecture also discussed the metabolic response and the hormonal and bichemical changes in which they occur. Where the lecture was delivered by a group of students of the second stage in the Faculty of Medicine and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Salman Kazem Ajlan.
