The scientific assistant to the president of the university, Prof. Dr. Zaki Abdullah Ahmad, visited the College of Medicine for the purpose of discussing matters of quality and accreditation at Basra University and the College of Medicine and how to upgrade the medical colleges. The visit included a scientific symposium on quality and accreditation requirements attended by the heads of the scientific branches and their rapporteurs, and a meeting with the Deanship of the College of Medicine.
