The College of Medicine of Basra University organized a scientific symposium on skin diseases during the Corona pandemic, with the participation of researchers from the College of Medicine, AlZahraa College of Medicine, and the College of Medicine at Dhi Qar University. The symposium aims to learn about the latest developments in the field of dermatology during the period of the Corona pandemic and the skin symptoms of Corona patients and how to diagnose and treat them In addition to how to communicate with patients during the pandemic period. The symposium included the skin symptoms of Corona patients: the method of diagnosis and treatment and how to communicate with patients remotely during the period of the pandemic and dealt with common medical errors in the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases, as well as the drugs used in the treatment of corona and its side effects, especially dermatological ones, and how to deal with chronic skin diseases and their treatment pattern during Pandemic period. The symposium recommended the need to emphasize the use of remote communication when necessary to treat patients and communicate with them. It also emphasized the need for cooperation with all specialties in the diagnosis and treatment of complex skin conditions. The symposium also recommended that patients continue to treat dermatological patients with the currently available medications that control maneuvering, while carefully monitoring patients during the treatment period.
