Mohammed Hijaz Mohsen, a third-year student at the University of Basrah - College of Medicine, get the first place in the University Holy-Quran Memorization Competition. The competition was held at the University of Basrah - College of Education for Human Sciences .
Additionally, sixth-year medical student Issa Abdul-Rahim Abdul-Amir get the third place in the Holy-Quran interpretation.
The competition include the participation of students from 14 different colleges across various academic specialities.
At the end of the event, the winners were honored for their efforts and their outstanding performances, and that reflect their dedication to the study of Holy-Quran sciences.
