University of Basrah in Collaboration with Tehran University for Medical Sciences Held an International E-Learning Webinar


Under the patronage of Prof. Dr.Saad Shaheen Hammadi Chancellor of University of Basrah, the University of Basrah in collaboration with Tehran University for Medical Sciences (TUMS) held an international E_Learning Webinar entitled E-Learning with the concept of Blended Medical Learning today, Thursday 15th of October 2020. The webinar included five lectures. The first lecture entitled "Message to improve our future in learning" by  Prof.Dr.Saad Shaheen Hammadi the chancellor of University of Basrah. The second lecture entitled "Blended Learning in Undergraduate Setting"  by Dr. Isabel Stabile. Professor Stabile is a gynaecologist at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Malta. She is also currently director of the International School for Foundation Studies and Medical Foundation Programme. 
The third lecture entitled " Blended Learning as an Effective Teaching - Learning Strategy in Clinical Education by Dr.Rita Mojtahedzadeh (Department of e-Learning in Medical Education, Virtual School,Tehran University of Medical Sciences). The forth lecture entitled  " E-Learning in Medical Sciences Education:  Definitions and Brief Review" by Dr.Aeen Mohammadi. Dr.Aeen Mohammadi has PhD in Medical Education. He is one of the founders of Virtual School of TUMS and currently a faculty member of e-Learning in Medical Education Department in this school. The fifth lecture entitled "E-Learning in the Medical Group of the University of Basrah during COVID-19" by Prof Dr.Murtadha Almusafer the vice-deen of the College of Medicine University of Basrah and Assistant Prof Dr.Jawad Alkharsani the vice-deen of Al-Zahraa Medical College.
