The President of the University of Basrah; Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the two members  of the Department of Chemistry / College of Science; Prof. Qassem Khalaf and Prof. Dr. Nadhim Awwad, published a research in the international journal (Cardiovascular Disease Research) entitled: A study evaluating the relationship between chromium level and myocardial infarction. The research aims to find out the relationship between the level of chromium in the blood and the occurrence of myocardial infarction.
