The editorial board of the Basrah Surgical Journal held its periodic meeting, headed by the editor-in-chief, Prof. Dr. Murtada Muhammad Salih Al-Musafir, and the members of the editorial board participated in attendance and via the Zoom platform.
Where the reality of the magazine and the mechanism of receiving research, distributing tasks to members of the editorial board, involving international and local members, determining the ceiling for completing the research progress through the electronic platform of the magazine, communicating with residents, and encouraging them for accuracy and speed of completion.Statistics of the research submitted for publication and the stages of its passage through the electronic system were also presented. The meeting concluded with proposals that would encourage researchers to publish in the journal and attract them to cite research sources published in it.
