Al-Mayameen Humanitarian Foundation organized an awareness campaign at the College of Medicine, University of Basrah, about desertification, how to eradicate it, what are its causes and negatives, and environmental pollution in our country and the world. Where the Director of Human Resources, Mr. Bashir Yousef, and the Director of the Six Persons, Afra Farid, received the Director of the Six Foundation, Mayameen Muhammad, and the dialogue took place about the most important ways to eliminate desertification, enhance a clean environment, and treat pollution emitted from cars, factories, homes, and power stations that burn fossil fuels such as oil, coal, natural gas and gasoline. The campaign aims to educate students about the issue of climate change, afforestation of desert and dirt areas, and the importance of preserving the environment.
