Student Advice Bureau

The Bureau had been re-established in 2013 to provide psychological, financial, social, and academic support for the students who seek or in need of help at different aspects of their academic studies. By cumulative experience, around  3-4% of the students suffer from acute problems that require support. This encouraged the foundation of a separate entity to fulfil the above-cited aim.

The Bureau is supervised by four of the teaching staff, one of them is a specialist psychiatrist; the other three had experience in students affairs. The Bureau is directly connected to the Dean of the college to facilitate quick and effective actions.

As an example of its activities, it had been involved in 43 acute student problems during the academic year 2018/2019.
