Board research at the College of Medicine at Basra University discussed the perception of body weight and its physical and psychological impact on high school students. The research presented by student Zahraa Hazem Nazem aims to determine the percentage of obesity and weight gain among high school students and their effect on the perceptual shape of the body as well as the psychological and physical effects of weight gain. The research concluded that the percentage of obesity and overweight among females is higher than that of males, as well as the psychological and physical impact is higher among females. The research recommended the need to pay attention to the problem of overweight occurring in all children and adolescents, as well as to the search for healthy food and sports activities that in turn enhance their physical health.
