The World Health Organization honors the Dean of the College of Medicine of Basra University for his distinguished role in combating the Corona pandemic

 

Dr. Awatef Al-Oqabi, the representative of the World Health Organization in Iraq, honored Dr. Khalil Ismail Al-Hamdi, Dean of the College of Medicine and a member of the Crisis Cell in Basra to combat the Corona pandemic for the distinguished and distinguished course in combating this pandemic by providing the Faculty of Medicine with medical and scientific services with sincerity and dedication in addressing the Corona pandemic. Medicine has been effective since the beginning of the Corona pandemic in the production of the vector for the virus. It is worth noting that Basra University is the first in Iraq to be able to produce the first medium for VTM a1 and VTM a2 to diagnose the Corona virus. The certificate of appreciation was handed over by Assistant Professor Dr. Fateh Abdel-Saheb Al-Khaqani, Dean of the College of Dentistry to Prof. Dr. Khalil Ismail Al-Hamdi, Dean of the College of Medicine, on behalf of Dr. Awatif Al-Oqabi.
