The Surgery department/ Orthopaedics Division at the College of Medicine, University of Basrah, and under the auspices of the President of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, and in cooperation with the Acino Pharmaceutical Company In the presence of Prof. Dr. Thamer Ahmed Hamdan, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Nabi Al-Timimi and Prof. Dr. Mazin Abdul Nabi Al-Tamimi, Professor at the University of South West Texas in the United States of America, Consultant  in Neurosurgery and pain management . as He is one of the graduates of the college of Medicine university of Basrah Where practical knowledge and experiences were exchanged and the experiences of the visiting guest from the United States were utilised to develop the scientific and practical aspect of our college.
